About acne treatment

Acne is one of the most common skin conditions and can affect people of any age. Early treatment tailored to your individual needs can help improve the complexion and prevent scars from developing.

Every skin has different needs. We therefore create a bespoke treatment concept for you, combining different options according to the type and severity of your acne. During a personal consultation, we discuss which of these are appropriate for you.

Our treatment options

Topical and systemic treatment

For mild to moderate acne, we use individually selected medical creams, gels or lotions. They have an anti-inflammatory effect, can help regulate sebum production and may prevent new blemishes from developing. For more pronounced forms of acne, treatment with tablets may be appropriate. Depending on your skin's condition, different active ingredients can be used to reduce inflammation and target the underlying causes of acne. This treatment is accompanied by regular dermatological check-ups.

Medical peels and the skin barrier

Medical peels support skin renewal, clear blocked pores and can visibly improve the complexion. They promote a more even skin tone and may reduce inflammatory lesions and early acne scars. As a complementary treatment, our skin barrier treatment using BTL EmFUSION combines a thorough deep cleanse with the targeted delivery of high-quality active ingredients. It supports regeneration of the skin barrier, supplies the skin with moisture and nutrients and promotes its natural resilience.

Blue light and diode laser for active acne

Blue-light therapy is a gentle, non-invasive option for blemish-prone and acne-prone skin. The blue light is applied specifically to affected areas of the face, décolletage or back and can help calm the complexion and reduce inflammatory blemishes. Treatment takes around 20 minutes and is generally well tolerated. A diode laser can provide additional support in treating inflammatory acne. Its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action can help reduce inflammation, regulate sebum production and improve the complexion.

Laser and RF needling for acne scars

If acne scars have already developed, modern laser procedures and radiofrequency needling offer options to support skin regeneration. By specifically stimulating collagen formation, they can improve skin texture, smooth the appearance of scars and help the complexion look more even overall.

Who is it suitable for?

  • You have mild to moderate acne
  • Your acne is more pronounced or keeps returning
  • You would like to help prevent scars from developing
  • Acne scars from earlier outbreaks bother you
  • Your skin needs a stronger, more resilient barrier

Our aim is to stabilise your skin over the long term and work with you towards a healthy, clear complexion. During a personal consultation, we tailor the treatment concept to your individual needs.

Answers to the most important questions

Which treatment is right for me?

Every skin has different needs, so we create a bespoke treatment concept that combines different options according to the severity and characteristics of your acne.

Is treatment with tablets always necessary?

No. For mild to moderate acne, topical treatment is the primary approach. Systemic treatment may be considered for more pronounced forms and is accompanied by regular dermatological check-ups.

What happens during blue-light therapy?

Blue light is applied specifically to affected areas of skin, such as the face, décolletage or back. The treatment is non-invasive, takes around 20 minutes and is generally well tolerated.

What can be done about existing acne scars?

Modern laser procedures and radiofrequency needling may be considered. Both stimulate collagen formation, which can improve skin texture and help the complexion appear more even.
