About wart removal
Warts, skin tags and age warts are usually harmless, but they are often bothersome on the face, neck or body. Warts are caused by viruses. Skin tags (fibromas) are small, soft growths of skin, while age warts (seborrhoeic keratoses) are brownish, slightly raised spots that become more common over the years.
With the CO2 laser, we remove the spot with pinpoint precision and seal it at the same time. The aim is a smooth patch of skin that heals quickly.
Every skin change is examined by a dermatologist before we remove it. This ensures that it is harmless.

Do warts come back after the treatment?
The treated wart is completely removed. With viral warts, however, the virus can cause new warts to appear elsewhere.
How do I care for the area afterwards?
The treated area is dressed with a wound ointment. The small scab falls off by itself after around 7–10 days.
Will there be a scar?
With professional treatment and good aftercare, scarring is minimal. Small areas often heal virtually invisibly.
Can skin tags (fibromas) be removed with a laser?
Yes, we remove skin tags with the CO2 laser, usually within a few minutes and under local anaesthetic. A small scab forms and falls off by itself after around 7 to 10 days.
